Symbiosis
This project is about curiosity, experimentation, and the tension between tradition and technology. Handwritten typography has always been the guiding star to my design journey, but I wanted to see if AI could carry that same intimacy while opening the door to limitless creation. While I am a capable illustrator, I chose to lean into AI because it will undoubtedly shape our society and I want to help define that future.
The challenge wasn’t just making something new, it was making something that still felt like mine. This exploration taught me how AI can be more than a tool. It can become a collaborator, as I am still able to create something truly unique, extending my hand-drawn aesthetic into unexpected directions.
Sp. nov.
Short for species nova, is the formal term for a new but unnamed species. Here, it marks the birth of a bionic flower: a hybrid of silicone petals and machine forms, blurring the boundary between nature and invention.
Audere est facere: to dare is to do
The phrase promises boldness, yet the knight bows under the cost of it. Courage is not the absence of pain, but the choice to move through it. Every beginning asks for sacrifice.
